Join Ninebarrow for a totally unique concert as they launch their latest album, The Hour of the Blackbird. This distinctive collaboration sees the BBC Radio 2 Folk Award nominees join forces with conductor, arranger and composer, Roy Rashbrook, in a project the likes of which has never been seen in the world of UK folk music. Nearly a decade in the making, the record brings together the duo’s breathtaking vocal harmonies and melodies, alongside the masterful and intricate choral arrangements of Rashbrook. This one-off concert will see the album performed in its entirety and Ninebarrow will be joined on stage by members of two of Roy’s community chamber choirs: Hart Voices from Fleet and The Chantry Singers from Guildford. Delivering some of the duo’s best-loved songs, the addition of Rashbrook’s subtle choral arrangements promises audience members a truly special evening not to be missed.
